the New York Independent Film & Video Festival, one of the largest independent film festivals in the world.

Small plane hits house near Las Vegas-area airport - The Associated Press

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say an experimental aircraft with one person aboard crashed into a house and started a fire near the North Las Vegas Airport.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor says the rear-propeller Velocity 173 RG aircraft crashed about 6:30 a.m. Friday, shortly after taking off from the airport.
