NEW YORK, Aug 22 (Reuters) - American travel will dip during the Sept.
1 Labor Day holiday weekend by the largest amount in at least eight years
as travelers face high fuel costs and a slowing economy, according to a
survey released by travel and auto group AAA on Friday.
The number of Americans who will travel 50 miles or more during the
Labor Day weekend will drop 0.9 percent to nearly 34.38 million Americans,
